This is good for small cats. I got this for a cat who is 3 years old and about 8 pounds, and she fits inside just fine. If your cat already has an inclination to hide, this would be a good bed for them. The included blanket is small and thin, but perfect for adding a little bit of cuteness and some comfort for kitten. The mushroom bell on the top is so stinking cute, but neither of my cats care about it. The bed is easy to put together. I got it up and together in a few minutes. It was very easy. One gripe I have is that this bed doesn't stay in place too well. The bumpy texture on the bottom doesn't do much to stop it from sliding on soft surfaces. Other than that, I'm satisfied with my bed and so is my kitty.
